Rosemary Farm was founded in 1925 in Santa Maria by Captain G. Allen Hancock, established on the core principles of community-building and quality. Named after his beloved daughter, Rosemary Farm housed thousands of laying hens, utilizing the most advanced technologies of the time for high quality egg production, including a patented machine for cleaning and vacuuming chicken coops. An overall commitment to the ethical treatment and care of our hens also led to the planting of trees between the barns, providing hens with shade and wind shelter.
Today, Rosemary Farm remains dedicated to quality products and community partnerships, always taking an ethical approach to egg production to deliver the freshest, most delicious products. We not only bring the freshest eggs to our markets, but we search out the artisanal “little guys” to bring you foods that are built on tradition and quality. Every Rosemary Farm egg and Rosemary Favorites product represents our respect and devotion to our community, our hens, our environment, our customers and our future.
