Santa Barbara County Fair - July 2016

The Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria took place on July 13th through July 17th. Once again, our ‘Chicks Having Fun at the Fair’ display was a hit. In addition to our baby chicks, fairgoers could spin our wheel for a chance to test their poultry  knowledge and win a prize! We gave away water bottles, reusable grocery bags, coupons, and egg stress balls. The last day of the fair, we gave away the chicks to 4-H participants.

In addition to giveaways, it was an opportunity to remind the community that Rosemary Farm still exists. “It amazed me how many people thought we closed years ago, or they thought we were still located on Betteravia,” stated Tracy Ramsdell, Marketing Director. “Being at the fair allowed us to remind the folks, hey we’re still here, and we’re still suppyling some of the freshest eggs around!”

After the fair, it’s been a tradition for Rosemary Farm to pick up the auctioned turkeys and take them to get processed. We then pick them back up and keep them in our warehouse until pick up. This year, 115 turkeys were donated to the Food Bank of Santa Maria.

Santa Maria Rodeo Parade - June 2016

We participated in the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo & Parade on June 4th, and we were so honored to be part of this annual tradition. We had a wonderful time, and the people of the community were very happy to see that we, Rosemary Farm, still exists. We were very pleased to receive a 4th place ribbon for best community entry. Thank you all for your continued support over the years!

Chick Egg'stravaganzas - July 2015

Our Rosemary Farm Marketing Team was so egg'cited to get out and meet our newest customers at Bristol Farms! Do you know how to tell if your egg is fresh or not? It's as easy as filling a glass of water, gently placing your egg in the glass and seeing if it floats or not. If it sinks, it's a very fresh egg. If it starts to tip upright, it's aging but still okay to eat. These are the perfect eggs to hard-boil! And if it's floating, toss it out!

Easter Coloring Contest 2015

Our family is proud to be a Rosemary farm family! We are very happy to have access to local cage free eggs; not everyone is so lucky! We're frequently helping Albertson's in Lompoc, sell out of them. I can recall in elementary school when I was a child, we incubated and hatched chicks from your farm. Thank you for the care you put into everything you do, it is an honor to have you as part of the central coast community!

I grew up in Santa Maria and grew up eating Rosemary Farm eggs. Well I went to the Tower Mart here in Marysville Ca. There were your eggs so I got them and guess what? Not only did they bring back memories they were as good as I remember if not better. Keep up the great job. You want quality you want Rosemary Farm eggs.
